Still holding on to my Coachella dreams three weeks later. Thanks to Nick for the photos.
Hey y’all! Sorry for being MIA in the past week. I’m still recovering from the storm that was Coachella two weeks ago. More on that coming soon Right now I want to share with you a beautiful piece of jewelry I recently received from Robyn over at I Love My Dog Jewelry. Robyn runs an Etsy shop with very cute and reasonably-priced jewelry pieces that are customizable. The proceeds from her shop go directly to benefitting animals in need. How cool is that?
I’m a sucker for all things nautical so I was immediately drawn to this anchor necklace. Surprisingly I didn’t have anything like it in my collection. This dainty necklace is perfect for everyday wear, as it goes with basically anything in my closet. For this look, I decided to pair the necklace with more of a spring outfit rather than a traditional nautical one. I love the idea of mixing and matching trends now that spring and summer are upon us.
Now that it’s spring, I’ve been looking for a lightweight dress to throw on during those days when I’m feeling lazy but still want to look put together. Dresses like these are so easy to style since they basically speak for themselves. I got this dress from Znu recently and it’s super light and flowy. I will admit I expected the dress to be a little different judging from the images on the Znu site, but the dress still fits perfectly fine and is so easy to style. The material is very thin and light, perfect for those hot summer days that are coming up. For this outfit, I decided to pair the dress with my over-the-knee boots since it’s still a bit chilly where I am.
Summary: Spent the weekend in wine country, wore my new clothes 😉
I’ve seen culottes floating around everywhere recently so I decided to give it a try. It’s not something I would usually go for, but I found these on ASOS for a super reasonable price, so why not? Have you guys tried this trend yet? What do you think of it?
